One way to make money online is to set up one or more adsense websites for a targeted niche. Basically you put a snippet of text on your website (that Google provides you with) and when visitors click on the ads you get a percentage of the revenue. Advertisers, such as businesses, pay to put their ads on websites that are relevant to their business. Google figures out what your website is about by looking at your content, page titles, description, etc.

So what is required to set up an Adsense website? Well you will ideally need the following:
-a domain name (eg. www.yoursite.com) from GoDaddy, which is about $10/per year ($1.99 if you buy hosting)
-a web hosting account (eg. godaddy.com) where you website files reside (usually about $4-7 per month)
-an Adsense account (free)
-an easy way to add/update content (use a free content management system such as http://www.wordpress.org). Many webhosts offer fairly easy installs of this for you (no downloads or copying files to the server).
-get traffic to your website (ongoing efforts)
